Heidi Howell

With over 20 years in film and television costume design, Heidi’s creative journey has taken her from Austin to New York, New Orleans, Budapest, and now Bath. Her passion for historical textiles and storytelling led her to millinery, where she trained at the British School of Millinery and the School of Historical Dress in London. Heidi’s handcrafted hats and headpieces blend traditional British techniques with cinematic flair — each piece is a study in silhouette, texture, and timeless elegance.

Whether designing for screen or styling for a Georgian ball, Heidi’s work is grounded in collaboration, craftsmanship, and a deep reverence for fashion history.
